This lens had me a head of the times in 2000. I am still able to take my 10 year old footage and uprise it to HD and still have amazing quality. I shot my BBoy Connection film with this lens in 2000 until 2004. Instead of using the 16:9 effect in the camera's features shoot normal it TV format standard f your camera doesn't have 16:9 native. The anamorphic lens maintains a higher quality compressing a wider image for an amazing look. You then compress it in Final Cut Pro or Premiere. This lens got the attention of Sony Broadcast after they seen my videos and didn't believe I shot my videos with their camera. It landed me a job with Sony doing demos at NAB, DV Expo and at the Sundance Film Festival. Great lens.
